About us
Current Ministry:
Gilbert and Virginia are reaching out with God’s message of reconciliation to university students and professionals in Argentina. They are mobilizing local churches to expand their outreach in the local community through small groups, seminars and conferences. Through discipling, training, and releasing equipped believers into the marketplace, the Contreras family hopes to raise up a new generation of disciples in Latin America who will transform society.
Previous Ministry:
Gilbert worked with Chi Alpha Campus Ministry for over 12 years in Southern California, in a staff position, as well as pioneering campus ministry at a the local city college in Santa Barbara. He has received his Masters in Organizational Leadership from Azusa Pacific University.
Virginia pioneered campus ministry in Argentina in the early 90’s while working as a Pastor’s assistant. She has served in various cross-cultural settings in Central America, Canada, and the Philippines. She is a Lawyer in Argentina and has received her Masters in Christian Studies from Regent College, Canada.
