We left the States in early August. after a year’s worth of traveling and visiting churches in California and the neighboring states, and though they recommend a few weeks of down time before re-engaging in activity we just haven’t found those two weeks yet. Upon arrival to Argentina we began “running” once again and our calendar activity has not stopped.

CU

The theme of this year’s retreat was: “Disciple Makers: moving beyond rhetoric into costly action” and it was an empowering time for those who attended.

What a privilege to teach the staff of the national department of missions on the topic of conflict resolution, giving them tools for managing conflict. May biblical confrontation and restoration be the distinctive note in our communities and leadership.

Reconnecting with students and hearing of how God has been faithful in their lives has been amazing. Here is Gilbert with some students after a CU meeting at a local church in La Plata.

Pray with us for their continued growth in a Christian character, biblical discernment and Christian worldview.

Following the CU retreat we had a team of 10 students from Chi Alpha Sacramento and Davis join us in evangelizing the university in La Plata. It was a great blessing to us and the US team. One of the team members said, “It’s amazing how many had no idea who Jesus is or how many thought He was a ‘fictional’ character.”

Our students quickly adopted this team and began building community and together they impacted the university.
